This week at Springforth 09 the Release Youth took on a 30 day challenge to live out their faith. Everyday they will complete an activity that shows how they live Simply, Justly and Faithfully for Jesus their Savior. Day 1 was to reflect on 10 things they are grateful for in their life.  Robin Greer responded with the first challenge saying that she was grateful for: ”Free Speech, Education, and Family”. Stevie Morrison said he was grateful for Church and the ability to have amazing opportunities in life because of Jesus! Marlee B said that she was so grateful to have a loving family, a great church and  to have health. Nicki C said that she is so grateful to be able to serve Jesus with her life. That family and friends are a blessing and a gift from God!  I am also taking the challenge with the youth and to am grateful to have an amazing Savior and friend like Jesus. He gives the best advice and always has a listening ear. Jesus is my best friend! I am also grateful for my family which is a gift from Jesus and all my leaders and youth that I get to experience God with!

We have 29 days left… and its going to be fun… Tomorrow we are to give up Bottle Water….

God shows us in His word that He knows the Plans He has for us. Plans to prosper us and not to harm us, Plans to give us a hope and a future. Ref. Jeremiah 29:11. See for each of us God has designed a blue print of our lives. All of are plans are unique and designed just for each of us and if we follow the direction of God and His leading we will reach the full potential of the God given Plan. A prospered life and a future awaits for you today. Follow the leader, Live the plan. But How do we do this? How do we Live the Plan? This November at Release Ministries we will be diving into the word of God and learning the truth behind the commandments Jesus gave in the New Testament. ” Love God with all your heart with all your soul with all your mind and all your strength and love your neighbor as yourself. How do these commandments fit into our lives today? Why is it important to love ourselves. How do I Love God with everything that I am.  

I want to hear from you! What do you think about these questions. How would you answer them. Leave your comments here and we will discuss them.

This month we will be collecting can items every week to give to the Food banks in our city. Please bring a item every Friday to get into Release for the night. We want to fill all the food banks so if you ave any great ideas to help bring in more food please tell Debbie, the Leader at the desk on Fridays.

The all nighter will take place on November 28. The band “Found” will be Releasing there new CD. All nighter cost $25.00, includes: Concert, Swimming, Movie @ Studio 10, Pizza, Cosmic Bowling, Pizza, Prizes . Please pick up your permission slips this week, and with early registration and payment you will receive “Found” New Cd for only $5.00. Last night at Release, youth leader Brad Kay brought a special message on how God created each of us, special and with a purpose.  Sam Small showed us the proper way to shave a balloon full of shaving cream, and Release youth leaders dominate against youth in Guardian Angel Dodge Ball.

Worship Leader Mike Rogers and the Release band provide heart moving music in the worship time and a whole two rows of youth and leaders worship our awesome God all together, WHAT A SIGHT TO SEE!

Hey Youth,

Welcome to the New Release Ministries Youth Blog. You can come and check out what is new at Release Ministries everyday. I will be updating the Blog page weekly with new annoncements. There will always be upcoming events on the Blog. All youth can add comments here at the blog site about Release Ministries, or any talks, events etc.

Starting this Friday there will be a snack Bar here at Release. There will be many items that you can buy right here at the church. All money that is made through the snack bar will fund new youth ministry events.

It was nice to meet all the new youth over the last two weeks. Praying everyone is having a great week Will see you Friday 6:00 pm. Bring a friend and get a ballot for the ipod draw.
